Kroger prescription insurance settlement
$17 million fund for insured prescription purchases at Kroger pharmacies.
Customers alleged Kroger reported inflated prescription prices to insurance plans, raising what insured customers paid at the pharmacy counter. Kroger denies wrongdoing but agreed to a $17 million settlement fund. Payments are pro rata shares of the net fund — there is no administrator-stated per-claimant amount. The court granted preliminary approval. The fairness hearing is scheduled for January 11, 2027 — this case has not yet received final approval.
