Whirlpool refrigerator wire harness settlement

Cash back up to 50% of purchase price for fridge door wiring failures.

Owners alleged certain Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, and JennAir side-by-side refrigerators (manufactured 2018–2021) had defective door wire harnesses knocking out the ice maker, water dispenser, or control panel. Whirlpool denies wrongdoing but settled. The fairness hearing was July 9, 2026 — a final decision is pending. Benefits will be issued after the approval becomes final.
